Home insurance: Choose from three policies — the Saga Standard Accidental Damage, Extended Accidental Damage and Cover Plus. Of these, the Extended Accidental Damage is preferred.
Travel insurance:
Saga Insurance Customers can enjoy high levels of cover when at home and abroad and includes cancellation of cover if the holiday is cancelled. And the good news is that there is no upper age limit, making it more accessible to older people.
Saga Breakdown services insurance: If your car breaks down or needs repairs, you can get breakdown cover at the lowest rates possible.
Private medical insurance:
Saga Insurance has four policies catering to this need, besides which it also has a policy each for joint replacements, major treatments such as cataracts, gall bladder removal, hernia, etc and one for extra cover for heart ailments.
Saga Caravan insurance: Here, you can choose between the Gold and the Silver plans — the Gold caters to caravans 12 years and above that can be exchanged for a new one if insured with Saga within the first five years of manufacture. The Silver plan protects caravans when you holiday abroad.
Motor home insurance: Your comprehensive policy covers all kinds of things — replacement of a damaged motor home that’s two years old or less; insurance while traveling in Europe; cash cover in case of loss, accident, fire or theft; medical expenses of up to £300 each for the driver and passengers in case of accident.
Pet insurance:
Saga Insurance Policy was considered the ‘Best Buy’ in its category by a consumer magazine. It covers vet’s bills, kennel costs if your pet is kept in hospital for more than 96 hours, and for advertising and reward charges, should you lose your pet. And if you are a pet owner in your 50s, you pay a premium of just £3.86 for your cat per month and £8.78 for your dog. You can choose from three plans — Saver, Essential and Super.
Accidental death insurance:
Saga Insurance provides you Accidental death insurance, here you can get a cash payout of £25,000 if you lose a family member in an accident or in a sporting event up to the age of 89.
